not doable by GPRS/3G, or Wi-Fi in terms of their
specifications?

以上幾點除了前兩項可以利用GPRS/3G來相互取代，但是就以Wi-Fi與
WiMax的基礎優點(基地台成本低、函蓋範圍夠廣WiMax only)基本上
以技術面的角度來說Wi-Max與Wi-Fi連手其光芒已將現有的商用數位
通訊技術(GPRS/3G)給蓋過，且就以wireless的高頻寬特性，其他幾
點，就基於頻寬的限制除3G可相對制衡外，GPRS基本上已不符新時代
的需求固Wireless將來絕對可發展成另ㄧ巨大的商機
